Water Damage – Coconut Grove Home

Water damage occurred due to a plumbing failure at this Coconut Grove home. Significant moisture damage was apparent to the eye when we arrived. Our testing equipment confirmed what we expected. The moisture had penetrated deeply into the subflooring making it imperative that we remove the waterlogged veneer flooring. The subfloor needed extensive drying. We set up a battery of air movers and dehumidifiers to execute the drying phase of this project. The process was lengthier than most because of how much water damage repair was required. We monitored the extent of drying and the relative humidity in the room throughout the drying phase. Once the hi-tech equipment satisfied our crew and the insurance adjuster, we moved on to replace the wood flooring.
